Is Turmeric Good for Dogs?

Well it’s not just pure marketing hype. Just Google to find thousands of articles proving its amazing health-boosting abilities.  Google articles cover everything from auto immune disease, cancer, arthritis, diabetes, epilepsy, even Alzheimers.   Turmeric is a proven anti-inflammatory and a potent detoxifier as it improves liver function.  Good liver function can reduce allergies, improve skin condition, digestion and chronic inflammation.   Turmeric also is good for the heart as it thins the blood and improves the flow of blood to the brain, improving brain health making turmeric ideal for the older dog.

Turmeric is a culinary spice used in Asian cooking … the one that gives curries their yellow colour. Turmeric contains curcumin and curcumin is the ingredient in turmeric that provides all these wonderful benefits so it’s the curcumin we’re after. The turmeric powder that you buy in the supermarket only contains 2% curcumin and even then it needs combining with black pepper to improve its bio availability.  The other problem with turmeric is that yellow colour seems to be very staining and hard to remove from clothes, skin and fur.

So we are delighted to bring you TurmerTinc! Herbal Tincture so that you can easily give your dog high quality Turmeric with added Cracked Black Pepper in a simple-to-feed form.

No mixing, no mess - just simply pour a tiny daily amount on to your dog's dinner to deliver the many powerful benefits.  1ml per 10kg bodyweight.
