Alabama Rot

Alabama Rot

Alabama Rot is a deadly disease that has killed over 191 dogs in the UK since it was first recorded in 2012. In October 2019 two further cases of this deadly disease were confirmed.

So what do we know about this deadly disease and what can we do to prevent it?

The truth is that very little is known about what causes it but scientists suspect that it is linked to wet, muddy conditions.

And once your dog displays symptoms of it, it is very likely that they will not recover. That's why it is so important to remain vigilant to the symptoms of Alabama Rot and to take precautionary measures.

  • Dry throughly. Try one of our microfibre glove towels to dry and clean your dog fast and effectively
  • Spray with an antibacterial solution such as our First Aid Spray or Colloidal Silver
  • Remain vigilant for the early signs of Alabama Rot
*Purchase a Glove Towel, Paw Buddy, First Aid Spray or Colloidal Silver 500ml or more and we will donate 50p to the Alabama Rot Research Fund.
